YRKKH to take a leap for a year, Shivangi Joshi to now become Simran; read details

The Star Plus show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai never ceases to amaze its audience. Naira’s death in the show threw it into a tailspin, and Naira’s look-alike Sirat entered the program. With Karan Kundrra’s appearance on the show as Sirat’s love interest, ‘Ranveer,’ the viewers got yet another blow. While fans were puzzled as to how Sirat and Kartik would become closer with Ranveer in the picture, the show’s creators added yet another twist by showing Ranveer’s demise.

Now, the creators have added another intriguing element to the story. The producers have supposedly added a one-year jump in the show to provide some freshness to the tale.

According to rumours, Sirat will take on a new identity after the leap and would be known as ‘Simran’. Sirat will modify her appearance in addition to her new identity. Simran will have long curly hair, whereas Sirat has short hair. Sirat will be seen changing her identity to Simran and settling in a distant city.

The show’s current plot is around Sirat receiving the shock of her life after realising that her Nani died after she lost her love Ranveer. On her deathbed, Sirat’s Nani aka Mauri has entrusted Sirat’s responsibility to Kartik. Meanwhile, Ranveer’s father has challenged Kartik to save Sirat, claiming that he will be unable to do it.

Rajan Shahi’s banner Director’s Kut Productions produces Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ which airs on Star Plus. Shivangi Joshi, Mohsin Khan, Swati Chitnis, Sachin Tyagi, Harsha Kandeparkar, Ali Hassan, Shilpa Raizada, and Niyati Joshi are the part of the show.
