Badshah’s version of Justin Bieber’s ‘Sorry’ is making us too sorry!

Dear Justin Bieber fans, we are so sorry we are doing this to you. The great Punjabi rapper Badshah has just come up with a cover version of Bieber’s very popular number ‘Sorry’ and we wonder why!

Remember how the original video of ‘Sorry’ stole our hearts? Justin,in the song, asks his lady love to forgive him and take him back. Not to forget the thumping dance performance in the official video. Teen and tween-agers across the globe were humming the tunes for quite some time. But the spoiler is here.

The lyrics are giving us a major headache. ‘Ego ki aage kyun halki pade bolo dillagi’ or ‘Insta pe photo jo daali hai lagti ho khush badi’ is not what Bieber would have wanted in his song! Worse, it has picked up chorus portion from legendary singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s song ‘Sanu Ek Pal Chain Na Aave’.

Recently, singer Armaan Mallik also released a cover version of the same song and we did like it. It certainly wasn’t as good as the original one but was way better than the khichdi we just heard.
