Reloaded ‘Chadhta Sooraj’ from ‘Indu Sarkar’ is reminiscent of both, the original song and Emergency

Kirti Kulhari, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Anupam Kher and Tota Roy Choudhury-starrer ‘Indu Sarkar’ is a lot in the news because of its storyline. Directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, ‘Indu Sarkar’ sheds light over the ugliness that followed Indira Gandhi’s decision to call for emergency. The trailer received applause from all corners and now, we have a song from the film making it to the internet. A recreated version of popular qawwali ‘Chadhta Sooraj’ has been incorporated in the film. This new version has been sung by Mujtaba Aziz Nazanand, music is given by Anu Malik. We love the fact that the original feel of this film is kept intact. Neil Nitin Mukesh is simply spectacular.
