Rustom: Akshay Kumar and Ileana D’Cruz in ‘Tere Sang Yaara’ song

Akshay Kumar is back and we are just bowled over by the Khiladi’s new look in upcoming film ‘Rustom’. He is depicting the role of naval commander Rustom Pavri. The story of the murder mystery is a fictionalised version of K M Nanavati who was tried and acquitted for the murder of his wife’s lover, leading to the scrapping of India’s jury system. Ileana D’Cruz plays the role of Rustom’s wife Cynthia in the film.

Recently the makers of the movie had released the teaser of the first song from the film. Now the full version of ‘Tere Sang Yaara’ that is sung by Atif Aslam with the lyrics penned by Manoj Muntashir, tells of a love story before it turned into tragedy and betrayal.

The song has captured the beautiful moments between Rustom and Cynthia. It aptly depicts the pain etched on Cynthia’s face as she parts from Rustom when he answers the call of duty. Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai the movie also stars Esha Gupta and Arjan Bajwa.

‘Rustom’ is scheduled to release on August 12 and is all set to clash with Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro.
