Sarbjit : ‘Salamat’ song from Aishwarya Rai starrer is truly heart wrenching

The Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda starrer ‘Sarbjit’ is all set to release soon. The Omung Kumar directorial is a biopic based on a true life incident. It foretells the heart touching story of a sister’s fight to get her brother released from the Pakistani Jail. The brother named Sarabjit had strayed into Pakistani territory in an inebriated state and had been incarcerated on the charges of espionage there.

The trailer of the film had left everyone drained with it’s high in emotional content drama. Now the makers have come up with another gem that will strike a note in your heart and moisten your eyes. ‘Salamat’ the highly charged emotional number is crooned by Amaal Mallik Feat. Arijit Singh & Tulsi Kumar. The lyrics have been penned by Rashmi Virag.

The picturization is in a flashback mode which shows Sarbjit in jail, thinking about the beautiful moments he spent with his family.

‘Sarbjit’ directed by Omung Kumar is all set to be released on May 20, 2016.
