‘Buri Buri’ song from ‘Dear Maya’ depicts the enlivening escapades of two teenage girls

The makers of ‘Dear Maya‘ are out with their refreshing new track ‘Buri Buri’. The song depicts the enlivening escapades of two teenage girls, Anna and Ira. Residing in the scenic locales of Shimla, the two girls are full of spirit and their high-school adventures are a delight to see, reminding us of our high school days. Well, on one side we see these two girls full of sunshine and happiness, but on the other side, we see a recluse woman Maya Devi (Manisha Koirala) residing in an abandoned bungalow leading a depressed life. The two girls write love letters to Maya Devi to bring sunshine in her life and we are also shown the dark side of Maya Devi’s strained and lonely life indoors. So, overall the song depicts and bright and dark side of life in a nice manner.

The song is sung by Rashi Mal and music is by Sandman whereas the lyrics are penned by Irshad Kamil. ‘Dear Maya’ directed by Sunaina Bhatnagar is slated to release on June 2, 2017.
