‘Butterfly’ from ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’: Leaves us with no butterflies whatsoever

This song was expected to be an exuberant and joyous number. It tries its best to come across as a happy love song set amid the familiar khet, peeli chunri etc. As a result, however, ‘Butterfly’, however, looks like a bad rip off of many of SRK’s previous romantic numbers. Most importantly, Imtiaz Ali fans would find zero touch of the maverick filmmaker’s carefully crafted soul-stirring emotions; something we always keep looking forward to.
