‘Udta Punjab’: Shahid Kapoor is bang on as Tommy Singh in ‘Chitta Ve’

Be it his rocking entry or killer looks, Shahid Kapoor stole the entire limelight with his rockstar avatar in the trailer of his forthcoming film ‘Udta Punjab’. His character of Tommy Singh is of someone who is always high on drugs while he performs live on stage and we are happy to see Shahid’s unmatched intensity and energy in the first track of the film titled ‘Chitta Ve’.

The composition of Amit Tridevi is terrific and powerful, his hold on rock beats would definitely turn ‘Chitta Ve’ into an addiction for rock music lovers. Lyrics penned by Shellee is fantastic and singers Babu Haabi , Shahid Mallya and Bhanu Prtap have done a wonderful crooning with their vocals.

Visually the song is a treat for all fans of Shahid Kapoor as he just nails it with his performance as Tommy Singh, his expressions and dance moves would certainly make everyone wait for the release of this Abhishek Chaubey directorial.

‘Udta Punjab’ also stars Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh in lead roles. It is slated to release on June 17, 2016.
