Director Anand Surapur’s comedy-drama film ‘The Fakir of Venice’ featuring Farhan Akhtar and Annu Kapoor is finally going to hit the silver screens this month. Today, the makers of the film unveiled its first song ‘Wako Naam Fakir’.
Composed and sung by the Mozart of Madras AR Rahman, ‘Wako Naam Fakir’ is actually a doha of Sant Kabir. The track is very soulful as it has the magical Rahman’s voice blended with Kabir’s lyrics. The song gives us a glimpse of its central characters’ journey in the film.
Written by Rajesh Devraj, ‘The Fakir of Venice’ is now scheduled to hit the silver screens on January 18.
If you haven’t heard the song yet, then check it out above and do let us know in the comments section below if you loved it or not.
