Lalit Pandit is all set to wow millions with the song ‘Sham O Sehar’ and ‘Mast Hawa’ in soon to release film ‘Shorgul‘. He spoke about the album that he has created for Jimmy Shergill starrer ‘Shorgul’ that is a love story based on the backdrop of the Godhra riots. The talented composer confessed that all the songs in the film were composed keeping in mind the situation in the film. The most difficult to compose was ‘Mast Hawa’ that is based on the lyrics written by former union Minister Kapil Sibal for the film.
Lalit Pandit said, “The album has different situational songs which work very well in the film. Each song holds a meaning and goes in sync with the film and takes the story line forward. Every song is lyrically high which is in amalgamation with some of the best singers who have lent their melodious voices to the album of the film.”
‘Shourgul’ that is directed by Pranav Singh, will touch upon grave events such as Muzzafarnagar, Godhra, Babri Masjid riots. Along with Jimmy Sheirgill and Ashutosh Rana the movie also stars Sanjay Suri, Narendra Jha, Hiten Tejwani, Eijaz Khan, Suha Gezen, Anirudh Dave and Deepraj Rana.
