WATCH: Jimmy Sheirgill starrer ‘Shorgul’ motion poster

Upcoming political drama ‘Shorgul‘ is based on real life incidents that rocked the nation. The film is all about a romantic drama that takes a political twist. It is set on the backdrop of Uttar Pradesh and brings out some controversial political mind games of high profile dignitaries.

The movie is being directed by Jitendra Tiwari and Prashant V Singh and stars Jimmy Sheirgill, Ashutosh Rana, Sanjay Suri, Hiten Tejwani and Eijaz Khan in pivotal roles. Jimmy will be depicting the role of a prominent politician with a sinister streak. ‘Shorgul’ is based on the story of a friendship between a Hindu boy and a Muslim girl that takes a communal twist when the boy is killed.

The makers have launched the motion poster of the film that is all set to release on June 10.
