WATCH: The new track ‘Ali Ali’ from ‘Coffee With D’ is a heartfelt qawwali number

The makers of ‘Coffee With D‘ are out with a soulful number called as ‘Ali Ali’ which is a qawwali track. The track is beautifully sung by Shabab Sabri and the lyrics are penned by Sameer. The music is composed by Superbia and Shaan Gourov Roshin.

In the video, we see a dejected journalist Arnab Goswami receiving an ultimatum from his boss who indirectly asks him to leave as he no longer holds the spark in him. This leaves Arnab depressed and he visits Haji Ali to seek some solace. Sunil Grover seems to have got the right nuances of the Indian journalist in his mannerisms.

‘Coffee With D’ is helmed by Vishal Mishra and produced by Vinod Ramani. The movie also stars Rajesh Sharma, Zakir Hussain, Dipannita Sharma and Anjana Sukhani in important roles. It will be releasing on January 13, 2017.
