First Lady Superstar of India Sridevi made her acting debut at the age of four in the 1969 Tamil movie 'Thunaivan'.
Sridevi used to spell her name as Sreedevi, but she never corrected the new spelling in the film credits.
Sridevi was the not the first choice for Nagina and Chandni. Jaya Prada and Rekha were the original choice for the respective films.
The actress made her Hindi debut in 1979 with Solva Saavan and started dubbing for her roles from the 1989 film Chandni.
